Rail Slayer

                                                                      The Beginning

The skater is arriving at the park, to start the days session and hopefully get in some HAMMERS

The Attempt

The skater is now rolling up to perform the trick.

                                                                             Failure

he attempt at this trick has failed, resulting in a painful bail.

Its not over, till its over

Even though the skater took a hellish bail, he rises from the ashes  to do battle once more.

                                                                                                  Redemption

This time the skater is going to give it his full commitment, land or slam....

                                                                                          The War is Over
Through sheer will and determination the skater has come out victorious,
                                                                                  landing nothing but bolts.

Pattern

I shot this photo because I think it shows good pattern-composition. It shows a pattern because all the computers are all the same and it stays consistent.

LeadingLine

I think this photo is a clear representation of leading line because the main part of the photo is the boy who taking the photo but the white line plays a key part. This is because this line leads your eyes straight to the boy.

Framing

I think that this photo can show framing composition because the main part of the photo which is the student has a border surrounding him and with them slightly out of focus this gives the student more attraction.

Selective Focus

I believe that this photo represents selective focus simply because a certain area in the photo is in focus while the sounds area is out of focus.

Pattern

Pattern is clearly shown in this image because the same effect is being shown throughout the image without anything breaking it.

Depth of Field

This image shows depth of field because it shows the viewers, that there's a distance between the two objects.

Leading Lines

This is a clear example of leading lines because the rows of crops create lines the lead your eyes right to the windmill.

Breaking Pattern

This image shows a breaking pattern because a pattern is created with the zebras but one zebra is putting a stop to pattern.

Balance

This is prime example of balance because it literally shows balance but other than that both sides of the image are equal. One side does not completely over power the other.

Spring Sensations Poster + Write Up

The creative process I took to create this image started
off with getting inspiration from posters on the internet.
My original idea was to make a flower with out of different shapes, but that was a bit too complicated so I simplified it a bit. Although I did stick with the silhouette idea. As for the shape of the flower there really was no creative process, to be honest the due date for the rough drafts were coming up so I just came up with shape for the flower. The idea for the instrument inside of the petals came along when i realized that other then the silhouette there was no theme in my image that was associated with classical music and that's when i came up with the idea to fill the space inside the petals with instruments. The colours I chose were pretty simple, all I really did was choose colours that i thought represented spring.  The font is pretty simplistic other than the title of course but all i wanted was a font that looked professional or as close it as I could.

The technique I used when creating this image was not all that special. I simply used illustrator to draw the stem, then I used the pen tool to create the petals. As for the instrument I copied and pasted them from google.com then inverse selected them so I could completely fill them with a colour, change the opacity and then give them a stroke. The bubbles were simply use of the eclipse tool and copy/paste.
Some of the challenges I went through to create this image was when i making the instruments  and to solve that I just consulted some classmates for help. Most problems I ran into I solved them the help of my classmates or teacher.

Photo Post 3/3

The element that i see that are present in the photo are colour, and contrast. I say colour obviously because of the various colours that are being used in the squares. As for contrast, all these colours that are being used yellow and purple are complementary as well as red and green.

The Dark Knight

When looking at this photo I see contrast and typography.
So typography is easily shown with the text written on the right-hand side. As for contrast, this is shown with the various hues of dark blue that are being used.

Photo Post 1/3

The current elements I see in this photo line, space and contrast.
I believe that this photo has the element of line in it because towards the
top of the photo there is a root coming out of the plant in a straight line. Also
this line act as a path for your eyes and leads them to the lungs, which then becomes
very complex. The next element is space. I see this because the background is very plain
with a shape being cut out it, which creates an image. Lastly, is contrast and I chose this element
because purple and yellow are complementary colours.

Class Assigiment

My first assignment for my comm-tech
class was a Post Card.

I decided to post this image in the PNG format. I uploaded as this file type because it utilizes loss less compression, meaning no image data is lost when saving or viewing the image. It is a universal format that is recognized by the World Wide Web consortium, and supported by modern web browsers. For information about different file types please click here.

The procedure i took to create this image started off with the base photo or background photo which was the Eiffel Tower. This photo's original dimensions were 600 x 800 pixels. Although when I opened it in Photo-shop I had to re-size it to 4 x 6 @ 300 p.p.i. It was important to adjust the size to 4 x 6 @ 300 p.p.i because it is the most appropriate size when printing.

My thought process for this image was just make a photo that involves skating. This being because I enjoy skateboarding more than anything. As for the reasons i chose was mostly because I wanted the background image to be a beautiful place where a lot of people would go for vacations. Now why I chose the last image is because it is a picture of Mike Mo who happens to be an amazing pro skater and one of my favorites.

The steps I took to create this final product was first getting a background I liked. Second a photo of a big company in the skateboarding industry and lastly a skater of my choice who in this case happened to be Mike Mo. Now how I added these photos to my back ground using the "quick selection" tool. I selected the parts of the photo that I wanted to added and once that was done I dragged the selected image into my background photo. Once this was done I created a mask for both the images I added. I followed by using the brush tool to blend parts of the image into the background. After that I used the text tool add a phase that thought would fit the image with a font to match. Once that was done I saved it and my final image was completed.
